Spring Contracting Group has proudly completed five Crumbl Cookies locations across Maryland over the past three years, partnering with three different franchisees to bring this fast-growing dessert brand to life. Averaging 2,000 SF each, these retail bakery fit-outs were delivered in Frederick, White Marsh, Clarksville, Bel Air, and Timonium, with architectural design led by JZW Architects and InterPlan. Crumbl Cookies is known nationwide for its open-concept kitchens, weekly rotating gourmet cookie menu, and signature pink boxes that have become a social media sensation. Each location was built to reflect Crumbl’s brand identity, combining clean modern finishes with high-performance bakery infrastructure.
Spring Contracting Group handled full permitting, construction management, and delivery of all kitchen equipment packages, including ovens, mixers, refrigeration, and prep stations tailored for high-volume cookie production. Custom millwork was installed throughout, including display counters, cabinetry, and branded service stations. Flooring selections included durable tile finishes suited for food service environments, while lighting and ceiling systems were coordinated to enhance visibility and customer experience. Each store features a welcoming reception area, streamlined ordering zones, and clear views into the baking process, reinforcing Crumbl’s transparent and engaging customer model.
Glass storefronts and interior glazing promote openness and brand consistency, while back-of-house areas were optimized for workflow and sanitation. The build-outs also included restrooms, hand and prep sinks, mop basins, and utility coordination to meet health and safety codes. Acoustic treatments and AV infrastructure were integrated to support Crumbl’s lively atmosphere and digital engagement. Spring Contracting Group worked closely with franchisees to meet aggressive timelines and ensure consistency across locations. Due to Crumbl’s proprietary kitchen layout and branding standards, each store was delivered with precision and attention to detail.
